Colophon
This page is the receipt for a claim the rest of the site makes: that we work AI-augmented, with humans deciding and systems preparing. Here is exactly how this site was made.
How it was built
- Built by Claude agents (Claude Code) under founder direction.
- The humans set the brief, made every product-state and publishing decision, and reviewed every word before it shipped.
- The process ran in staged approvals: information architecture, visual design, build, content pass. Nothing was published by an agent; the founders hold the keys.
What it is made of
- Hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No framework, no build pipeline, no CMS.
- Two font families, self-hosted: Raleway (variable, OFL) and IBM Plex Mono (OFL). No font CDN, because a font CDN call leaks your IP address to a third party.
- The hero signature is about 13 KB of hand-rolled Canvas 2D (about 4.8 KB gzipped), measured from the shipped file. No animation library.
- The logo you see is always the exact Quilyx mark. The opening sequence borrows its geometry, then hands back to the true mark. The favicon is the brandmark, the symbol on its own, as the brand book specifies.
- Three illustrations on this site are AI-generated and art-directed by us: the glass brain behind the I.R.E.N.E. figure, the intake-to-placement machine behind the Quilance figure and the sealed one-way conduit behind the Freelyx figure. The short motion clips that light up the brain, the machine and the conduit are AI-generated from those same stills and art-directed the same way. Everything you can read on top of them is code, and every photograph of a person on this site is a real photograph.
What it does not do
- No cookies. No analytics. No trackers. No third-party requests of any kind.
- No forms, no server code, no database. The only way to reach us is the e-mail address, and we like it that way.
- Content-Security-Policy without unsafe-inline; scripts and styles are same-origin files. Security headers ship at deploy.
Measured, not promised
The budgets in our design brief are hard numbers: 300 KB target for the first view, 60 fps for the signature with automatic quality scaling, and everything readable before any JavaScript runs. Your visit, measured by your own browser just now:
Transferred: measured at load
Requests: measured at load
DOM ready: measured at load
Third-party requests: the target is zero, see above
Honesty notes
- The five systems on the main page are described in their real states: one in production for internal use, one a working engine, one live, and two still being built. The two in build are shown with what exists today, not with what is planned.
- The QuiDAS counts carry an as-of date and are updated at each publish.
- Program memberships are stated as memberships, nothing more. The one partner mark we show is the NVIDIA Inception member badge, used within the program’s member guidelines; the Claude Partner Network mention stays text only, and there are no other third-party logos.
